Mirrored Time
I am thrilled Mirrored Time is short-listed for the 2023 International Amy MacRae Award for Memoir, a contest conceived of and organized by Alison Wearing, the writer whose course, Memoir Writing Ink, kickstarted my writing during the pandemic. It’s more meaningful because the contest was created in celebration of the life of Amy MacRae, another student of Alison’s, and in support of her living legacy to improve the outcomes of women with ovarian cancer.
In May 2022, the same piece was a runner-up in the Wild Atlantic Writing Awards spring non-fiction writing contest.
